Last Regiment Patch Update – It’s Crunch Time (Part 2!)

We are back giving you some updates on our beta build for Last Regiment. Chris was at PocketGamer Connects Hong Kong last week so there was no dev stream. However, we are happy to share the latest patch update that was implemented Monday, July 22, 2019. Those who have beta keys to the game can start updating to the latest build. Here are the things we’ve changed and added.

Mechanic Changes

1.) Embarked units can no longer traverse Deep Water terrain.

2.) Fortify badge only shows up when a unit has used the Fortify action.

3.) Added support to show “Road” on lower left side when a tile with a road has been highlighted.

4.) Added 2 preset regiments for each hero.

Campaign Changes

1.) Updated Mission 1, 2, 3, and 5 for Olivia’s Campaign.

Note: Mission 4 and 6 are still being worked on.

Unit Changes

1.) Added new unit – Town Guard.

Note: Town Guard is still using placeholder art.

Power Changes

1.) Added Woodland and Wetland Regeneration for Plant units.

2.) Different levels of Flanking and Support icons have been updated for easier recognition.

Bug Fixes

1.) Fixed issue with AI where their units would automatically embark and still be able to move on to land terrain while embarked.

2.) Fixed structure health bar issue not showing the proper values when a unit is on top of a structure.

3.) Replaced some placeholder icons and effects for some powers.
